AM SESSION takes Mitchell Gray (Neal Hazard), a young hot shot executive on a journey from arrogance to respect and self realization when he is confronted by a homeless man (Charles Black) who like all of us, is much more than he seems.
As an actor, and the director, editor, and composer of AM SESSION, I have looked for many years for a short form script that I thought would be worth telling and I could tell well.
When our producer Mark Wilson brought me the script AM SESSION, I knew we had something special. Neal Hazard had crafted a script that had been honed over time to be both poignant, thought provoking and succinct. The fact that Neal had worked and performed these words many times as a stage reading with actor Charles Black, a fabulous talent in his own right, made the task both easier and much more challenging.
