Neal Hazard originally wrote A.M. SESSION for a family reunion event, and later re-tooled and aired it on Robert Townsend's Playhouse 22, where Mr. Townsend was quoted as saying that as a writer, "Neal gets it".
Neal's written works include the short film Strong Island Tea, the full-length play Lily's Holiday Garden, as well as short plays including Vows, Scrambled Eggs, and The Audition.

His play The Intervention was produced at TheatrExpresso in LA, and was said to have "...sharp pieces of comic dialog" - LA Magazine 12/13/05.
Neal continues to write and act, predominately in theater productions in and around Atlanta.
Neal Hazard and his wife Michele McCullough Hazard, which make up H~Thyme Productions “...the new seasoning”, will be releasing their first children's book, It was the Fairies, by early 2008.
